Overview
Fall in love with Cayman all over again with a staycation at the island's most prestigious hotel, the Ritz-Carlton.
With a prime location on the world-famous Seven Mile Beach, as soon as you step foot in this luxurious hotel, you'll feel like you're being pampered. You'll be greeted by name, with a complimentary (and delicious) rum punch and a cookie, just because. Once you've stopped taking in all the grandeur surrounding you, you'll be shown to your room, either overlooking the pool or across the road on the oceanside.
The hotel itself has 365 guest rooms and suites, five restaurants, a spa, fitness center, two outdoor pools and an oceanfront jacuzzi. For kids, there's also a new waterpark with slides, tennis and basketball courts.
Just walking through this spectacular hotel is an adventure in itself, with an art gallery, shops, beautiful decor and top-notch service, being a guest at this hotel is truly a 5-star experience.
The Room
If you're lucky enough to get an ocean-facing room, the view of this part of the beach is spectacular. You'll wake up to the world's best beach after a fabulously comfortable night's sleep on crisp, cosy, heavenly linen, that only the Ritz could offer. With delicate and stylish decor, a large bathroom with fancy toiletries, the room is comfortable and elegant, with sunlight pouring through the windows - perfection.
The Restaurants
Undeniably the most famous restaurant in the Cayman Islands thanks to its celebrity chef owner, Eric Ripert, and of course its insanely delicious and flawless menu, Blue offers locally caught seafood in a premier setting with excellent service.
As well as Blue, the Ritz- Carlton offers five more restaurants with equally as much appeal in their own way. Try the melt-in-your-mouth rustic-style pizzas at the pretty and dainty Andiamo overlooking the harbour. If you're still hungry, grab a gelato and indulge by the pool. For dinner, sample the best sushi on the island at Taikun.
This upscale sushi joint has the largest saki collection on island, an appetizing cocktail list and an unrivaled selection of authentic gourmet sushi. Opt for a traditional maki, sashimi or a signature tempura roll, the 'Volcano' is a popular choice.
What To Do
If you're feeling like a pampering, La Prairie Spa is acclaimed among tourists and locals. With a steam room, sauna, spa facilities and whirlpools, relaxing won't be a problem at this hotel. If you want to get out and explore the island, as a guest you have access to kayaks, paddle boards and other water toys as well as snorkeling gear and even sailing lessons.
If your idea of relaxing is chipping and putting on the green, the Ritz Carlton is known for its stunning 9-hole golf course.
With fabulous, fine-dining restaurants, gorgeous swimming pools and private cabanas at your disposal, it's not difficult to find something to do at this this simply stunning hotel.
Top Tip
Book the option including breakfast, the buffet costs around $35 per person, so having it included is a huge bonus.
